A thoughtful piece. Reminded me of tertiary study in mid-life after leaving school at 15, learning to be how one should be. Then the realisation that intellect alone is hard, and can be used so well to obfuscate, so the next lesson was to deconstruct and turn back to creativity and trusting intuition. I never made money from that, but the satisfaction never stops. Happy New Year.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, Lindy. I think that’s ultimately what learning looks like—a constant rebalancing, where you take in a lot, then gradually let go of what’s no longer necessary before moving on. I’m glad to hear this has been a source of ongoing satisfaction for you. And happy New Year to you too.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment.

I agree with you: a lot of persuasive writing today works by projecting total certainty—and I don’t think that helps us have better conversations.

The path between resonance and revenue is a challenging one, but a necessary one. I’ll be working through it over the next year and sharing what I learn here.
